For draperies that are functional, buy staves that are angled so that they can be installed above each window for a liquid look. You can also place a drapery bar on the wall above the window area, provided it is not angled. If drapes go all the way over the bay window blinds when they are closed, the window will appear flat. If you have a window space, this can create a private area away from the rest of the room.
