Instructions Install Wall Lamps with Cord

Turn off electricity from the switch box using the main switch. Pass a cable from your lamp to the existing lamp where you want to tie it if you want them to be turned on with the same switch. If you are using a different ignition switch, you will need to route the cable from your new lamp to the new switch. Then pass another cable from the new switch to the existing switch on the bottom of the wall. And using wire clips to hold the wire in the socket and then following the old wire on the wall to the old switch. Unscrew the central screw of the old switch faceplate. Loosen the two inner screws, then pull it towards you.

Unscrew the existing lamp and pull it towards you. Place the new cable through the conduit box and wind the black and white cable to the existing ones. Attach a plastic cover to protect them. Roll the white wires together and place a plastic cap.
